This is the largest member of the Thrush family; the Mistle Thrush is quiet aggressive due to requiring a large territory. It is so named as it feeds on Mistletoe.

Moorhens are a medium sized water bird. They are relatives of the coot family.  Moorhens have a habit of twitching their necks and tail.  Found near to water they are ground dwelling birds.

The Nuthatch is a woodland bird that can be seen clinging to mature tree trunks. They have a cheerful loud call. They are unusual in the fact that they can move up or down a tree trunk while woodpeckers and tree creepers can only move up trees.

Essentially a waterside bird Pied Wagtails have adapted well to mans environment and are often seen in gardens. They are a delightful small bird that always seems to have a bobbing tail.  They are known to gather in large groups and are mostly seen near to water.
