Open Front Nest Box

This wooden Open Front Nest Box is suitable for Robins, Wrens, Pied Wagtail and Spotted Flycatcher. The nest box has a removable front panel for easy cleaning. Locally made in Lincolnshire with FSC timber and felt roof and then finished with an eco friendly preservative. This Nest Box was built based on BTO guidelines. All wooden nest boxes are treated with a light oak preservative.

Robin

These brightly coloured small birds commonly found in many gardens and are one of Britain's favourite birds. The robin will take the juicy insects and worms as quickly as they appear. They are territorial and very aggressive in nature and have a ferocious appetite. Their brightly coloured red breast is their most attractive feature and for this reason the robin is seen on Christmas cards.

Pied Wagtail

Essentially a waterside bird Pied Wagtails have adapted well to mans environment and are often seen in gardens. They are a delightful small bird that always seems to have a bobbing tail. They are known to gather in large groups and are mostly seen near to water.

Spotted Flycatcher

Larger than a pied flycatcher. The Spotted Flycatcher is well known for chasing insects in flight. That is the main way that they catch their food. However in winter months when there are very few flying insects they can be found on the ground hunting their food.
