Droll Yankee Ring Pull Seed Feeders

Droll Yankee Ring Pull Easy Clean Seed Feeders allow for maximum hygiene with minimum fuss. Simply pull the pin to remove the base and seed ports for easy cleaning. Made from tough rust proof all-metal fittings and a UV stabilized polycarbonate tube. Two perch rings are provided in addition to the seed port pegs. Comes with the Droll Yankee life time guarantee. Droll Yankee accessories can be used with the Ring Pull Easy Clean Feeders.

Please note: We do not recommend you feed our Won't Grow Mix, Ultimate Energy Mixes or Sunflower Heart Chips on their own from the Ring Pull seed feeders as they are liable to stick in damp conditions.

Greenfinch

Similar in size to a House Sparrow, the Greenfinch is a chunky-looking finch. The male Greenfinch is known for its olive-green back and bright yellow patches in its wings and tail. The female is duller with streaky upperparts. Juvenile Greenfinches are similar to the female but browner.

House Sparrow

The House Sparrow deserves its name as it often nests in buildings. These habits and the ability to exploit a wide variety of foods have resulted in the worldwide spread of the species. However the lack of holes in buildings for nesting and poor availability of insects on which they feed their young has resulted in a declining population in some areas of the UK.

Goldfinch

Goldfinches are usually seen in groups as they flitter from garden to garden in their search for food. Once they have found food they are very protective of that area. They sometimes get into fights amongst themselves when in the breeding season.

Blue Tit

This delightful and entertaining small bird is a frequent visitor to garden bird feeders and tables, performing skilful acrobatics to obtain a meal of peanuts or fat. They are thought to be intelligent as they will investigate new sources of food such as stealing the top of the milk learn from each other and use great dexterity of beak and foot. They are easily recognised by their blue cap and wings, white cheeks and yellow body.

Siskin

The Siskin has spread its range considerably in the last few decades. Once seen only in the conifer plantations of Scotland, this agile finch has become a frequent visitor to winter gardens where they enjoy catkins. Their chattering call can be heard when in groups and the song is a high trill descending to a low buzz.
