Squirrel Resistant Feeders

The grey squirrel is the scourge of many gardens, but at Vine House Farm we have a great range of high quality squirrel resistant bird feeders. Grey squirrels are highly attracted to bird feeders, both peanut feeders and seed feeders. Not only do squirrels take the food intended for birds, but can also damage the feeder in the process. We have a variety of squirrel resistant seed feeders and peanut feeders most protect the peanut feeder or seed feeder by the use of a metal cage surrounding the feeder such as the Nuttery Feeder and Droll Yankee Guardian Feeder, allowing small birds to get in but not squirrels. For squirrel resistant seed feeders we also sell the Squirrel Buster seed feeder which works when the weight of a squirrel on the perches closes the ports to prevent them getting to the seed. To protect feeders on the ground from squirrels, our Ground Guard and Adjustable Ground Guard provide a secure cage around the ground feeder which again allows small birds in but keeps squirrels out.
