Feeding hedgehog food though the winter is essential as, contrary to popular belief, hedgehogs don't generally hibernate for the whole winter. Up to a quarter of all hedgehogs perish in their first year, and this is thought to be due to lack of food to help build up fat reserves before winter. Help reverse this trend by feeding our hedgehog food throughout the year. Our hedgehogs love the combination of peanut granules, dried mealworms, sultanas, and sunflower heart chips in our hedgehog food. Ideally feed from one of our compact feeder trays.
