Delivery
Orders received by 3pm Monday to Friday will be dispatched via DHL on a no signature delivery service; simply advise us where to leave your bags. We don't deliver on Saturdays, Sundays or Bank Holidays.
Some orders less than 1kg in weight will come by Royal Mail.
Orders for Live Mealworms are sent directly from our supplier via Royal Mail. They are dispatched the same day if orders are received by 12pm Mon-Thurs; no orders are dispatched on a Friday. Please allow four working days for orders to arrive.

Nest boxes for birds are an established and proven way to increase the breeding success of a wide range of species. This isn’t just through providing birds with a convenient nest site when natural options like a hole in a tree are in short supply, but also helping them get through the winter in order that they can breed - and this through the nest box being used as a safe and warm place to spend cold nights.
Traditional timber nest boxes are fine, but have the disadvantage of the wood deteriorating over time, plus its more prone to creating temperature variation inside the nest box. Woodcrete solves both these issues, with the mix of concrete and wood fibre ensuring both a very long life for the product and a more even temperature inside the box. The latter point is relevant because it can have a positive impact on the survival rates of the young and developing birds inside.
Putting up Woodcrete Nest Boxes in your garden with different size entrance holes plus the option of the open-fronted nest box, will increase the mix of species likely to use them. For example, the bird nest box with the 26mm hole will attract Blue tits, whereas the box with the 32mm hole is more likely to be used by Great tits. Crucially, remember to clean out the nest box completely at the end of each breeding season, because if the old one is left in, then birds will not use the box the following season.

Do woodcrete bird boxes attract other types of wildlife?
Generally speaking woodcrete nest boxes will only be used by birds, but during the winter months bats might use them for hibernation. During the spring and summer months, some species of bumble bee also might use a bird nest box.
