Delivery and Returns
Depending on your postcode, most orders received before 3pm Monday – Friday will normally be delivered the next working day by our carrier service DHL (formerly UK Mail). We offer a signature optional service so goods can be left safe, as specified by you if no one is in. Small orders of less than 1kg may be delivered by Royal Mail. Delivery is free for all orders to be delivered to mainland UK.
Nest Box Camera kits are dispatched directly from our supplier and may take up to five working days to be delivered.
Orders for Live Mealworms are sent directly from our supplier via Royal Mail and therefore exempt from out next day delivery service. They are dispatched the same day if orders are received by 2pm Mon-Thurs, 12pm on Fridays. Please allow four working days for orders to arrive.
The following postcode areas may take up to 3 working days to be delivered:
AB31- AB38, AB40- AB56, IV1- IV28, IV30- IV32, , IV36, IV40, IV52-IV54, IV63, KW1- KW14, PA21- PA38, PH4- PH41, PH39-PH50, BT.
We do not deliver outside of the UK
We are also unable to deliver to Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland and the Channel Islands. We can deliver to The Scottish Islands and The Isle of Man at an additional charge of £10 per order. This charge will be added at the time of payment this includes the following postcodes:. HS, IV41- IV49, IV51, IV55- IV56, KA27- KA28, KW15- KW17, PA20, PA41- PA49, PA60- PA78, PH42- PH44, ZE, IM
Delivery to Northern Ireland postcodes
Unfortunately, we are no longer able to deliver to Northern Ireland due to policy changes at our shipper, DHL. We will continue to monitor and update if the situation changes. The £50 delivery charge is in place to deter orders. If you wish to order Live Mealworms, these are sent via Royal Mail and can still be ordered. Please place your order via telephone – 01775 630208.
Non-delivery, incorrect or damaged goods
For non-delivery call us on 01775 630208 within 7 days and we will try to resolve the problem as quickly as possible. We take great care packing your order, but mistakes and damages can happen. Please advise us immediately if we have made a mistake, we will rectify the problem as soon as possible.
If your item is not in stock, we will place a back order for you. You will always have the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
We hope your order meets your expectations. In the unlikely event that it doesn’t please get in contact with us and we will try to resolve the problem for you.
Your right to change your mind
If you are a consumer then for most products bought through our brochure (but not products with a shelf life of less than 28 days, live bird food, sealed products once you have opened them or items which have become inseparably mixed after delivery) you have a legal right to change your mind within 14 days and receive a refund. These rights, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, are explained in more detail in our terms and conditions.
