Cannot see the advantage of these little wrigglers over fully grown ones.

This particular food I haven’t previously tried but suffice is to say the birds love it. All the food from Vine House Farm is excellent and the service is fast.

The mini mealy worms are ideal for feed for baby nestlings . I felt assured leaving these for adult birds to feed chicks without any danger to the young.

These were top quality mealworms (not that I’m an expert you understand!) all I can say is that the birds love them, particularly our robins who can’t get enough this time of year. Also the blackbirds, dunnocks and of course the starlings.

The birds go nuts for them. They're put out and then they're gone. I have to set myself up with time to watch the action or they're finished by the time I look again. But it's wonderful to see them getting the best of what they need, especially with babes to feed. The only drawback is more plastic tubs to recycle. Any hope of little carboard boxes? I double-container them for the fridge anyway and I expect most people do.

Have brought these before and the food to feed them up. They are very lively and our local robins often get to eat them before the majority get a chance to grow! However the same thing happens when our local blackbirds come seeking mealworms as a treat. So on behalf of the wild birds they score these mealworms highly.

It took our birds, mainly blackbirds and a pair of pied wagtails, a few days to accept the live mini mealworms. Now, as expected, they are all eaten by lunchtime. It would have been useful to have information about how to store the live mealworms, either on your website or a slip of paper with the delivery.

Mini mealworms are young mealworms that have not yet fully grown. They are a nutritious bird food, providing moisture and protein for birds. Ground-feeding and insectivorous garden birds are attracted to the wriggle of worms. These include live mealworms and waxworms, as well as mini mealworms. In the wild, birds pick up worms from the ground, and caterpillars from bushes and trees. During nesting and fledgling seasons, birds feed these to their young. Mini mealworms can be beneficial because they are easier for small birds to consume.
