Good value for money. This has replaced a wooden Bird Table that had rotted away, and I have had twice as many Birds visiting my garden. They seem to prefer this type of feeder. The delivery was fast and Customer Service 100%! The Courier had bashed the box and although the Feeding Station was undamaged it had caused two feeders to have become bent and unfit for use. Customer service did not hesitate to refund a generous sum to compensate. Well done!

Feeder station easy to assemble, looks good. The seed hoppers have seed in them all we need is the birds to find the food. When I first looked to buy the feeder station it was out of stock but was given the option to receive an email when they were in, which I did, so ordered one immediately and it turned up only a couple of days later.Thank you.

Strong and sturdy Only disappointment is that there is too many holes in the feeding tubes and the food disappears very quickly I’ve changed to other feeders that I had already which suits me better(and the birds)

Excellent service. Easy to assemble but one minus point was the threads were covered in the powder coating used on the rods and had to be thoroughly cleaned and oiled before they would screw together

Was pleased overall but felt the feeders weren't perhaps as robust and easy to open as some other brands
If you’re new to feeding garden birds, then this excellent value-for-money bird feeding station is ideal. Made by Gardman, the wild bird feeder station comes complete with two seed feeders, a peanut feeder, suet block holder, water bath, fat ball hanger and a micro mesh feeder tray. This array of feeders is all that’s needed for the main types of food to attract different species of bird to your garden. The stand the feeders hang from is 226cm high with the additional support spike supplied, and can be used on a lawn or on a patio using our separate patio support stand.
Bird feeder stations are especially useful for gardens where there are few or no trees and therefore limited places to hang feeders from. The other advantage of the Gardman complete feeding station for wild birds is that it can be easily moved to different locations in your garden, with this being best practice because it greatly reduces the risk of the ground below the feeder station becoming contaminated. This is important for the health and wellbeing of garden songbirds, as diseases such as Salmonella can be caused by rotting seed husks and other waste from bird foods.
Where is the best place to put a bird feeding station in your garden?
The main consideration should be that the bird feeding station isn’t too close to somewhere for a predator such as a cat to hide. For example, avoid placing the bird feeding station close to dense bushes or shrubs. After that the location isn’t critical, so just choose the best place you can to watch the birds from inside your home - so perhaps the centre of your lawn or on a patio.
How do you attract birds to a feeding station?
Once the feeding station is in place and with the feeders filled with the right high quality foods, then birds will find it. This might be immediate or take a few days, but it would be very rare for a feeding station not to be used.
How far from the house should a bird feeder be?
There isn’t a clear-cut rule, with the bigger consideration being steps you can take to minimise bird strikes on windows. This is best achieved by having vertical blinds or just marking thin vertical lines on the glass with a suitable pen, with the effect of this being that birds see the lines as a barrier and won’t attempt to fly into the window. You can therefore position a feeding station as close to your house as you like. If for any reason such a solution isn’t feasible, then position bird feeders as far away from your house as possible.
Should bird feeders be in the sun or shade?
It doesn’t really make any difference, with the only possible issue being that suet products can become very soft and deteriorate if they’re in direct sun on a hot day in the summer.
What time of day do birds feed?
Garden birds feed throughout daylight hours, though can be especially active first thing in the morning. Interestingly, some species, and notably Robins, stay active into dusk and will continue to feed, whereas other species such as Blue tit do not.
