This cleverly designed nest box has an innovative tunnel system and offset entrance hole, to make it much harder for predators to access young birds. The entrance requires two tight turns, allowing small birds such as Great tits and Nuthatches to navigate through with ease, while larger predators are unable to reach the nest due to their size and limited flexibility.

Some orders less than 1kg in weight will come by Royal Mail.

Orders for Live Mealworms are sent directly from our supplier via Royal Mail. They are dispatched the same day if orders are received by 12pm Mon-Thurs; no orders are dispatched on a Friday. Please allow four working days for orders to arrive.

We now deliver to all of mainland UK with no extra delivery charge. Please note that some postcode areas that are classed as Scottish Islands and Highlands may take 2-3 working days to arrive. For deliveries outside of these areas a £10 charge will be applied. Postcode areas affected include HS, IV41 – IV49, IV51, IV55 and IV56, KA27 and KA28, KW15 to KW17, PA20, PA41 to PA49, PA60 to PA78, PH42 to PH44, ZE, Isle of Man

The Seattle Predator Protection Nest Box offers even more advantages compared to many other models on the market, with a reinforced metal plate fitted around the entrance hole, to prevent woodpeckers from enlarging it and gaining access. It is constructed from FSC-certified wood and painted with eco-friendly paints, so it is both sustainable and safe for wildlife. A sturdy built-in hanger on the back makes it easy to securely mount the box to a wall, tree, or fence - position between 2m-4m from the ground. Face away from direct sunlight & tilt slightly to keep dry. The front panel opens for quick and easy cleaning after the breeding season — usually from October onwards. The 15mm thick pine body helps retain warmth for nestlings and offers a refuge for adult birds during winter. Featuring a 32mm entrance hole, it's ideal for species such as Great tits, Crested tits, Nuthatches, and Tree Sparrows — though it is suitable for smaller birds like Blue tits with the predator prevention design.
