It’s ideal for feeding swans, ducks and also geese at local ponds, rivers and canals. As the food floats on the surface of water, it not only allows for easy feeding for the birds, but also means that they can be seen eating it - which is clearly more rewarding and especially for young children.

Orders for Live Mealworms are sent directly from our supplier via Royal Mail. They are dispatched the same day if orders are received by 12pm Mon-Thurs; no orders are dispatched on a Friday. Please allow four working days for orders to arrive.

All the wildfowl on our local pool enjoy these pellets which are easily scattered in water or on the grass and none get wasted. The only problem is I have accumulated large plastic sacks which I am unsure how to recycle. I use them to pick rubbish up with!

We feed passing wild ducks, a family with seven ducklings and a family of moorhens with this food which floats so they do not have to risk coming onto the bank to feed. I had a casualty when feeding on the bank so was really thrilled to find this food. I haven't seen any piles of feathers since using this. Easy for the grandchildren to chuck out onto the water as well.

Good wild fowl floating food. Noticed a difference this time round,a lot of dust in the product,never been this much,usually only when you got to the bottom of the bag,but this one tended to be more all through the bag.

Ducks and moorhens love this food. It is a joy to see the influx of a pair of nesting moorhens and a couple of ducks to our pond. The food disappears overnight and I have heard geese there too.

Ducks have returned to pond! A few days after throwing half a cup full onto the surface we have a pair of ducks visiting. Still waiting for the moorhens but am sure they will arrive shortly for their floating feast. The food stays floating for more than a day so there is plenty of chance for wildfowl to find it.

This is the best for ducks and swans. We have tried regular water bird food but that only works well out of the water; in the water it sinks. This floating food is brilliant. It floats and all the birds love it.

My mother has had a mallard duck come and lay her eggs in my mums garden the last 2 years - it’s been heaven sent during Covid as it was the perfect company for her - so when we found your pellets we couldn’t resist - she now comes to the front door with her babies (well not so small any more) they are now on day 61 and she expected them to fly off soon - but hopefully back next year!! This is the best! The fact that this bird food floats is brilliant. The swans, ducks and geese love it - so do moorhens and coots. Not the diving ducks though. These cold months are best for offering the birds extra food to survive to breed in the Spring and we are confident that it is good for them - unlike the old bread you see other people throw at the birds.

This food goes down very well with the ducks and moorhens in my local park. What I like best is that it's easy to throw and aim, meaning I can make sure all the ducks get a bit, not just the dominant ones. Pigeons, crows and magpies are also partial to it.

I can't tell you how popular this is with the duck population on my local pond. Although the pellets float well they are usually gobbled up the moment they hit the water. As soon as I arrive at the pond edge I am surrounded by a crowd of eager ducks. The sacks always arrive very quickly and the packaging is robust and recyclable.

So pleased with this bird food - and so were the swans! I had fed them wheat before but the wheat soon sinks when thrown into the water. I didn't want to encourage them onto land where they could be attacked by dogs so feeding them in the water is the only option. This floating swan food was all gobbled up on the water's surface and so, unlike the wheat, none was wasted. I also felt that we were giving them something that was far more nutritious than wheat on its own. I shall certainly be buying more!

Both the Floating Food and the standard Duck and Swan food are really good quality. You only have to see how quickly it's gobbled up. Unfortunately for us and the ducks the local rats love it too and there is now a ban on feeding the birds.

It’s long been known that feeding bread to ducks and swans is harmful to them, though unfortunately the practice still continues. The issue is that bread has very little nutritional value for ducks, swans and indeed geese, though it fills their stomachs up and therefore discourages them from natural feeding. This can then lead to malnutrition, which in some cases can lead to a loss of being able to fly and, in worst cases, even death.
Our Floating Swan and Duck Food is the ideal food to take to a local lake, pond or canal where Mute swans and different species of duck are regularly fed by the public. It’s easy to feed and will float on the surface for the birds to easily take, which also means that you and any young children can watch the birds feed.
Please note that this food is not intended for birds that will enter the human food chain.
