Very solid feeders. No squirrels since I started using them. I also wanted to protect the birds from cats. Other feeders birds still reach the food from sitting on the outside of the cage, but mainly they are inside very safely munching away.

robust wide feeder, the best one I have got. I wanted to make sure that birds were safe (from my cats) inside the cage and it is brilliant. I havn't seen the squirrel either since installing it. He manages to find a way to eat with the other cheap caged feeders. I will buy another one when the other cheap one breaks down.

Great to see the squirrels frustrated! you just need to make sure the lid is on tight: i did not do this the first time strongly enough to stop the squirrel forcing the lid open, but luckily i saw it do this, so I immediately went out and rectified the problem.

Once the smaller birds got used to them (which took a couple of days), they made short work of the seeds and suet pellets inside the feeders. Larger birds can no longer steal the food intended for the small birds.
