Orders received by 3pm Monday to Friday will be dispatched via DHL on a no signature delivery service; simply advise us where to leave your bags. We don't deliver on Saturdays, Sundays or Bank Holidays.

Some orders less than 1kg in weight will come by Royal Mail.

Orders for Live Mealworms are sent directly from our supplier via Royal Mail. They are dispatched the same day if orders are received by 12pm Mon-Thurs; no orders are dispatched on a Friday. Please allow four working days for orders to arrive.

We now deliver to all of mainland UK with no extra delivery charge. Please note that some postcode areas that are classed as Scottish Islands and Highlands may take 2-3 working days to arrive. For deliveries outside of these areas a £10 charge will be applied. These boxes are hand made in the UK with 19mm FSC redwood pine, sourced from a UK company. Access is simple via a swivel-clip roof, which allows easy opening for cleaning or monitoring. The base features drainage holes to help keep the interior clean, dry, and safe for nesting birds. Supplied with fixing screws to attach to a fence or wall Different species of songbird favour different nest box hole sizes. Nest boxes with a 28mm hole are prefered by Blue, Coal and Great tits, along with Tree sparrows. Nuthatches and Pied Wagtails will use the 32mm hole size, with the hole being similar to a gap in masonry in an old building – their traditional nesting choice. Starlings nest in holes in trees and building cavities, so will readily take a nest box. For open fronted boxes, these are used by species which like to nest in fairly dense undergrowth, and include Robin, Blackbird and Song thrush.

Farmland birds often become vulnerable to starvation during the 'hungry gap' - when natural food sources become scarce. Any species that lacks food will not thrive. By providing food during the winter months will also ensure they enter spring in the best possible condition.
