Our Mixed Seed is a great way to feed a range of garden birds. 95% of the seeds in this mixed wild bird seed are grown here at Vine House Farm. The mix is made up of black sunflowers, wheat, red millet, white millet, canary seed, naked oats, pinhead oats, kibbled maize and oilseed rape.

Delivery
Orders received by 3pm Monday to Friday will be dispatched via DHL on a no signature delivery service; simply advise us where to leave your bags. We don't deliver on Saturdays, Sundays or Bank Holidays.
Some orders less than 1kg in weight will come by Royal Mail.
Orders for Live Mealworms are sent directly from our supplier via Royal Mail. They are dispatched the same day if orders are received by 12pm Mon-Thurs; no orders are dispatched on a Friday. Please allow four working days for orders to arrive.
If you have not received your order within seven working days please contact us on 01775 630208.
We now deliver to all of mainland UK with no extra delivery charge. Please note that some postcode areas that are classed as Scottish Islands and Highlands may take 2-3 working days to arrive. For deliveries outside of these areas a £10 charge will be applied. Postcode areas affected include HS, IV41 – IV49, IV51, IV55 and IV56, KA27 and KA28, KW15 to KW17, PA20, PA41 to PA49, PA60 to PA78, PH42 to PH44, ZE, Isle of Man
We are unable to deliver to the Republic of Ireland or the Channel Islands.

Good quality bird food as always plus speedy delivery. I buy all my bird food from here, mixed seed, Niger seed, peanuts, sunflower hearts and suet balls and they are always good quality and we have loads of very happy birds.

This is the first time I have purchased this mix. The first fit time that I have had the black sunflower seeds in. I have not yet been able to identify which breed is using them! They have been going though. I do feel that the mix is less attractive to the Pigeons . Yippee.

Second bag this year, the birds are loving it. Recent visits from a couple of grey squirrels too. Feeders repaired after the furry thugs chewed through two hangers. Birds on the feeders are obviously looking for a particular seed as other seeds are scattered all over the place. The scattered seed is then hoovered up by pigeons, doves & blackbirds. It all goes! Always quick delivery of seed bags. Always enjoy reading the farm updates.

I never, ever, give a 5* review! (Call me old fashioned!) My birds, that use the feeders, are not dumb. They can easily sort chaff and twigs from actual food. (That said I do help them by removing as much chaff and twigs as possible. No problem, for me, as it gives me something to do!) I do like the delivery and price.

The birds wait for me to refill the feeder in the morning. One little bird was actually waiting near the branch. The bigger birds wait underneath the feeder for any seeds dropped on the grass, It is lovely to see the birds swooping in to find a sunflower seed, they are the favourite. They are very polite and await their turn at the seed. It is a pleasure to watch the birds at the feeder, it is a great success.
