Feeding suet products to your garden birds provides them with essential high-energy proteins, so it’s important to have at least one type available – in particular if you don’t feed peanuts and especially in the winter months.

Delivery
Orders received by 3pm Monday to Friday will be dispatched via DHL on a no signature delivery service; simply advise us where to leave your bags. We don't deliver on Saturdays, Sundays or Bank Holidays.
Some orders less than 1kg in weight will come by Royal Mail.
Orders for Live Mealworms are sent directly from our supplier via Royal Mail. They are dispatched the same day if orders are received by 12pm Mon-Thurs; no orders are dispatched on a Friday. Please allow four working days for orders to arrive.
If you have not received your order within seven working days please contact us on 01775 630208.
We now deliver to all of mainland UK with no extra delivery charge. Please note that some postcode areas that are classed as Scottish Islands and Highlands may take 2-3 working days to arrive. For deliveries outside of these areas a £10 charge will be applied. Postcode areas affected include HS, IV41 – IV49, IV51, IV55 and IV56, KA27 and KA28, KW15 to KW17, PA20, PA41 to PA49, PA60 to PA78, PH42 to PH44, ZE, Isle of Man
We are unable to deliver to the Republic of Ireland or the Channel Islands.

These pellets are a very popular food for a variety of garden birds, starting with the Blackbird that flies down when I go out with the tub. The birds prefer them to sunflower seeds. The pellets are reasonably pleasant to handle, with no significant waste.

All the garden birds and squirrels love them !! I mix the suet pellets in with the Premium Mix Birdseed and feed in bird feeders and in a large tray for Robins and Blackbirds. Other birds feed from the tray too. Suet pellets are always eaten first !!

First found the suet pellets in the Robin and friend mix I purchase - a firm favourite wth the Blackbird that nest in and around my garden. However the male Backbird that comes to the patio door asking for food has a particular liking for the berry suet pellets, hence my recent purchase. Spoilt or what.

The following birds all ate them with obvious enthusiasm- blue tits, great tits, house sparrows, starlings, jackdaws, woodpeckers, robins, blackbirds and probably others I didn't notice!

Loved by all the visiting birds, however, there seems to be a lot more residual 'dust' than with the insect pellets or the mealworm pellets and the pellets themselves are nearly all very short instead of the varied sizes of both the insect and mealworm. Certainly nothing wrong with the berry pellets but the insect and mealworm would be a preferred choice.

Although I ordered Berry pellets I actually received Insect ones. The quality of these is fine. I contacted Vine House to advise them of the error and rather than messing about returning the incorrect ones and getting a replacement I decided to keep the ones that were sent. This review is therefore on Insect Pellets, not Berry Pellets.

To be fair, the rating is based on my previous order as this one has not yet been opened. These pellets are obviously far too tasty, and thankfully leave very little residual dust, but I fear that if I keep using them the birds are going to eat me out of house and home. It is reassuring to see how keen the birds are to devour them.

There are so many ways of feeding these suet treats - from a mesh peanut feeder (with or without peanuts), mixed with seed or simply on their own from a bird table or the ground. They are a favourite of Blackbirds, Robins, Song Thrushes and Starlings.
