Unfortunately it's that time of of the year when there are very few birds around and my garden is no different to many others. Consequently I have been unable to give a decent review.

Really good company. Speedy free delivery and everything in recycling ready packaging. The only thing I wish was that I could get other types of suet pellets, eg berries. Because I have arthritis in my lower back I can't manage the larger quantity boxes.

This must be the ultimate 'snack' food of the avian world! This year's broods of great tits & blue tits come en masse like excited teenagers to grab a pellet and fly back to the safety of a tree, especially when a magpie comes for a share. The pellets are also enjoyed by robins, blackbirds and a woodpecker. The wood pigeons hoover up anything that's left!

I use these in the window feeder in a tiny back garden in East London. The pellets would perhaps be better if they were generally a little smaller, then there might be less spillage as the birds chomp on them. I unwittingly bought some smaller ones from another supplier, and they did work better. This year, not merely sparrows, blue tits and great tits, but large birds have descended with a crash on the feeder - spotted woodpecker, jay, magpies, starlings.

Very happy with the Suet Insect Pellets and the service.
19/06/2023Mrs lesley Price
Very popular with nesting birds, whether for the parents to keep their energy levels up, or for the young, I'm not sure. But they go quickly. Remain handleable even in hot weather.

Birds come from all over to eat the pellets. The garden is full of visitors waiting their turn at the bird table. The pellets are lovely and moist - not dusty and crumbly. The birds love them.

Always good - excellent product that the birds actually want to eat - almost no waste, good prices, excellent quick FREE delivery what's not to like??? ...... and they send out a monthly newsletter about their farm which is very imformative.... can't go wrong in my opinion - I would give 6 stars if I could - well done, thank you!!!!!
09/05/2023Mrs valerie Stevens

Great to be able to offer suet without all the packaging...and it is simple to fill the feeder via a cup. The birds seem very happy too.

Very popular with the local birds. The blackbird and robin are waiting when I go to the garage to get the pellets.

Have been buying these pellets for a while now as the birds like them, however you are now charging £5 vat? Will purchase elsewhere now sadly .
06/03/2023Mrs joanna Lloyd
Difficult to write a review of bird food. My birds seem to love them but haven't left any confirmation tweets and I haven't sampled them personally. But, as I get through lots of suet pellets (all flavours), I am happy to award 5*
04/03/2023Mrs lesley Price
Very popular with garden birds. Dry to the touch and flow nicely into feeders. Pellets are big enough to not fall out of suet feeders.
27/02/2023Mr patrick Manners
It is hard to judge exactly what the birds think of the pellets as I mix them in with seed, peanuts, a bit of bread and some chopped up-cheese. They all go along with the rest of the food quite quickly. However I only put millet and niger out first thing in the morning as the other things attract rats. The rats do not come when I put millet, niger and the rest of the food out at midday.

Birds love them so perfect for us all as we get to bird watch
06/02/2023Mike Chapman
Excellent. Pleased to find that we saw blackcaps in January after putting out the Suet Pellets
02/02/2023Garry Burgess
Excellent product ...I break them up into smaller pieces to use in a ground feeder tray ...they go further that way...the birds especially the Sparrows and Robins can't get enough of them
02/02/2023Peter Brooke
Good size pack, a minor point-not easy to open to access through a fully open bag rather than to pour which does spill some of the pellets. I'll know next time. As to the food itself- I can only say from observation the birds love them! Would buy again.
19/01/2023Diana Pollen
Very little residual 'dust' and the pellets are cut in small, medium and large sizes, making them ideal for all the birds who love them so much.

What can I say birds love it

High energy suet pellets with insects can also be fed from a mesh peanut feeder, with this method attracting species such as Long-tailed tit, Coal tit, Blue tit, Great tit and Great spotted woodpecker.
Insect suet pellets for birds can be fed at any time of the year, though will benefit garden birds the most during the cold winter months. This is because natural food such as invertebrates is far less easy for birds to find, with the high level of fat that suet contains largely acting as a replacement. This fat is then converted to energy once consumed by a bird, and in turn this also helps maintain body temperature through the long cold winter nights.
