The Robin Bird Feeder has been designed with Robins in mind, and allows them to more easily take food as they don’t have to cling to a perch - which, as a ground feedings species, they can find difficult. The dome of the Robin feeder also keeps food dry, plus it can be lowered to keep larger species of bird out.

This type of bird feeder for Robins is ideal for food such as sunflower hearts, husk-free seed mixes, suet pellets and live mealworms.

The Robin feeder can be hung from a branch, a feeding station hook, or placed on a bird table or directly on the ground. The dome of the feeder is made from UV-stabilised polycarbonate so will not crack or discolour with time, with the dish having drainage holes.

It’s ideal feeder and good rain protector for a seed feeder hanging from it.

Even though this is called a Robin Feeder I find that mostly sparrows and tits are using the two I have. I think they like that they keep dry in rainy weather, and so does their food. They are easy to clean and refill.

Haven't put it up yet, but looks of good quality and is bigger than the picture implies.

Excellent feeder works great on the hook. Moveable hood keeps the weather and the pigeons off. Female blackbird has so far mastered it.

Robust, easy to keep clean. Enjoy watching small birds feeding away from wood pigeons, starlings and jackdaws.

We've bought four of these now, for ourselves, family and friends - so it must be doing something right! Sturdy, a good size, easy to use, recommended.

It is first class, so good at keeping out the rain. At first the little birds were a bit hesitant about using it but once they gained confidence it is now their regular feeding station. The pigeons try as they may have not managed to feed from it, long may that last. Would recommend it. Nanette Pollock

The Robin hasn’t yet worked out how to get in but the tits love it. I’ve raised the cover today so see what happens.

Excellent design. The oversize cover keeps the food dry most of the time. In windy conditions, if rain blows in from the side, the water quickly drains away through the holes on the base. This prevents food sitting in a pool of water and, in the case of seeds, germinating.

Lovely. Just waiting for it to be used

Whilst there is no bird feeder for Robins only as other small birds will also use it, nonetheless our Robin Bird Feeder is absolutely ideal for the species. This is because Robins can find it difficult to cling to the perches on hanging tube feeders - especially if the perches are straight rather than round - and this due to them essentially being a ground-feeding species. The design of this Robin bird feeder means they can easily cling to the edge or may go right into the dish to feed. Although this feeder is designed very much with Robins in mind, it is also ideal for feeding live mealworms to other garden birds, including Blackbird, Dunnock, Starling and species of tit. The suitability of the feeder for live mealworms is due to a) the dish stopping the mealworms from wriggling out, and b) the dome keeping the mealworms dry.
