  Purchased this as the one I had the squirrel was destroying it , this one is strong and robust and the squirrel has been a couple of times and it has deterred it up to now, haven’t seen it for a while.

  We bought this as a feeder near the window of our kitchen, where we cannot use a caged variety of feeder. So far, so good! The squirrels cannot get into it, & have given up trying, which is wonderful. It is a bit tricky to fill up with seed, & needs to be taken down & put where the seed will not spill. But we are happy to do this if it saves money on feeding squirrels. Also the birds love the four ports & are constantly dashing back & forth feeding. It has not stopped the woodpeckers, nor the parakeets, though actually we had hoped the latter might be too heavy. All in all, very good bird feeder.

  Fantastic bit of kit. Well made and totally squirrel proof. I also have a Squirrel Buster nut feeder which does the same - the little scamps don't even bother with our bird food now. Expensive, but would definitely recommend as seed wastage costs are reduced.

  I am pleased with this bird feeder. It doesn't totally deter the squirrels because they seem to always find a way around things, and they hang on to the pole on the bird feeder station so they can get at the bird seed without putting their weight on the feeder. However, I have noticed the squirrels don't seem to bother very much now to make the effort, and I am getting lots of birds feeding, which is a joy to watch.

  This feeder has worked very well. Small birds can easily feed from it. Larger birds and squirrels tried but failed to get any of the seeds and have given up after about 3 days of trying. The quality of the product is very good and it’s easy to clean fill and and take apart. Good value and we are glad that we bought it.

  The squirrels very quickly worked out that if they jump on the feeder the seeds fall out onto the ground where their mate is waiting for the feast!! Just too clever!

  This feeder seems to work very well. The tits and finches got used to it straight away, and we have a lot of disgruntled wood pigeons. I haven’t seen a squirrel attempt it yet.

  This is the 2nd Mini Squirrel Buster seed feeder I have bought. It is not entirely squirrel proof as the crafty scoundrels can hang from the top of it and not engage the weight machanism. Also they can shake out the seeds and eat them in the ground! I do have a feeder with a guardian as well which does beat the squirrels but isn’t too popular with the small shy dunnocks that visit my garden. So this feeder is for them! Unfortunately the seeds in the feeding tray get wet when it rains which is frustrating but I have yet to find a feeder which is totally waterproof!,
