FAQs

What are Rolled Oats?

Our oats are heat treated  then rolled to flatten them and it is this process which gives them their distinctive shape. The ‘naked’ part to the name comes from the fact that this particular type of oat has been bred to have no outer husk.

Will birds eat Rolled Oats?

They will, though largely just ground-feeding thrushes – both Blackbird and Song thrush.

What are the best ways to feed Rolled Oats to birds?

These oats are best fed from a bird table or the ground, and are not suitable for seed feeders.
