Squirrel Busters are the most effective squirrel resistant feeders we know about. These feeders work on gravity, with the food ports closing up when grey squirrels or large birds sit on the perches.

The Squirrel Buster Plus Seed Feeder has a large capacity for bird seed, meaning you will have to fill it less frequently. With a 100g - 150g tension setting, this feeder can be adjusted to allow only the birds you want to feed at your feeders, as the ports will close for grey squirrels and larger birds such as Jackdaws, depending on the weight setting. It needs to be hung or placed at least 50 cm away from a pole or branch to ensure crafty squirrels can't reach across to empty the feeder without putting any weight on the perches.

Orders received by 3pm Monday to Friday will be dispatched via DHL on a no signature delivery service; simply advise us where to leave your bags. We don't deliver on Saturdays, Sundays or Bank Holidays.

Some orders less than 1kg in weight will come by Royal Mail.

Orders for Live Mealworms are sent directly from our supplier via Royal Mail. They are dispatched the same day if orders are received by 12pm Mon-Thurs; no orders are dispatched on a Friday. Please allow four working days for orders to arrive.

We now deliver to all of mainland UK with no extra delivery charge. Please note that some postcode areas that are classed as Scottish Islands and Highlands may take 2-3 working days to arrive. For deliveries outside of these areas a £10 charge will be applied. Delivery was faster than they promised. Local wildlife trust gets a donation from each order. Squirrels 'busted' by the feeder. A variety of seeds ordered, which arrived in good condition. All this, and the price was reasonable too.

The squirrel has really tried to get into this and essentially given up. Mind you, I provide a feeder that he can get in to so he thinks he's fooling me and is getting some seed as well.

Although not a cheap option for stopping grey squirrels and larger birds such as Rooks from raiding your bird food, the Squirrel Buster Plus bird seed feeder is arguably worth the money. Its clever gravity mechanism means that the weight of a squirrel or large bird will close the feeder ports, with this then ensuring that the bird seed can’t be accessed. The mechanism can also be adjusted to be more or less sensitive to weight, with the range being between 100 and 150 grams. If the cost is a little too much though, then there’s a more affordable smaller version.
Grey squirrels can be a real nuisance on bird feeders, as they will not only take relatively large quantities of food, but their presence will deter songbirds from feeding. The same is true with larger species of bird and notably those in the Corvid family, with Jackdaws and Rooks being a particular issue. Therefore the Squirrel Buster bird seed feeder plus is an ideal product, as it will prevent both grey squirrels and larger species of bird from feeding. Of course you might also want to provide an easy source of food for squirrels and even the larger birds, and for the former a simple squirrel feeder is the answer.
